The illustrations in Aloha Veggies are the work of my husband Moses Aipa — seventeen original designs, each one rooted in Hawaiian quilt traditions and inspired by the plants and places that shaped this book. Watching them come together was one of my favorite parts of the process.

Three of the seventeen illustrations — ʻUlu, Mushrooms, and Watercress — are being released as hand screenprinted editions. Two-color prints on premium cover stock, hand-signed and numbered by Moses. Small editions. Each one tied to a specific farm, a specific plant, a specific moment in the year.
